In many cases, direct reporting to the company saves time and provides accurate information needed to process your claim.
When calling in a direct claim, we ask that you:
Have your policy number ready.
Do not attempt to alter or fix damaged property unless it is to stop further damage from occurring.
Have any official documentation available (for example, a copy of the police report, pictures of damaged property, insured vehicle information, etc.). You may need to email, scan, or fax these documents to your claims adjuster.
Keep all receipts for any cost incurred, including temporary housing expenses.
